Now we are delighted to bring him to Leeds Town Hall with his astonishing flamenco company for a production that unites Spanish and African music and dance in a celebration of immigration and shared cultures.

Quimeras brings to life the journey of a group of people in pursuit of a better life, searching beyond the frontier for a wonderful, promising world. In the end this dream notion often turns out to be a chimera – an imagined beautiful reality that turns out to be false, crude and tragic. Quimeras creates situations reflecting the good and bad aspects of their dreams, the reality of their lives and the interconnection with the people on the other side of the frontiers they cross.
